Highway to Somewhere

This was my first venture into abstract painting. whilst on a visit to Barcelona I came across a twisted metal structure titled “Homenatge als Castellers” by Antoni Llena I Font. So I got my camera placed on the floor in the middle and got a photo.
I felt that the result looked like a map, and the painting is my interpretation of that photograph.
The painting is oil on canvas and measures 40cm x 50cm.
